The Gambling Act 2005

As of the 1st September 2007 the Gambling Act 2005 became law, replacing the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976.

From this date it may be considered a breach of conditions under the terms of the Act to use a supplier to facilitate any part of your raffle or lottery who is not a registered External Lottery Manager (ELM). A breach of this condition may result in a society or organisation losing its operating license as granted by the Gambling Commission.

The Woods Group is a licensed ELM (External Lottery Manager) so you can rest assured that you will be dealing with a fully licensed company with the experience to handle all aspects of your raffle or lottery.
